They have the best sashimi dinner Platter (Sashimi Moriawase) that I have had in the greater Orlando area. They also ave some really delicious rolls. If great food and service is what your looking for, you will definitely be pleased.

Meeeeh! Not super impressed, but I guess you get what you pay for. Rolls are very rice heavy and fish light. Decor needs work. And it looks like they are working on it, but on a cash basis, so it is piecemeal and slow. Service was slow with the big group we had and I am always turned off by servers with breast tattoos, extremely low class. Extra point off for having cameras EVERYWHERE. I will not return for this reason specifically. (Yes I know they are in nearly all restaurants but they need to make it a little more discrete and have them professionally installed so it doesn't feel like I'm in a prison mess hall)

I went with a group and they seemed unprepared for us even tho a reservation had been made. Service was slow and haphazard. No warning was given for the wasabi, which was almost deadly to one patron. I feel it is overpriced too for the amount you get of each item on the platter. The tempura pieces were all overbreaded and greasy. The miso soup was so salty that many of us just tasted it and set it aside. No bread or crackers were offered with the salads altho the dressing was nice; but $1.50 extra was unfair IMHO. I definitely would not go there again nor recommend it to anyone.

Being a vegetarian, they have a great selection for me and everything I have had there had been amazing. The Bonsai drink is great too :)

I don't know why I haven't reviewed Fuji yet. I couldn't begin to tell you how many dozens of times I've been here over the years. But first: something that I feel should be said, my own personal rule of thumb when reading Yelp reviews of sushi restaurants. If any sushi review contains any variation of one or more of these phrases: - "I'm from [insert New York or some city in California] so I know sushi!" - "I don't eat raw fish" - or any comment that implies that they know sushi better than you do ("If you like this sushi, then you don't know what good sushi is...", etc) then I tend to ignore the rest of the review. Now that that's out of the way, I can't honestly tell you if Fuji is my favorite sushi restaurant in Orlando. I've been to many (my best estimation based on my own reviews is about 50 sushi restaurants in and around Orlando as of this writing) and several really stick out in my head. Fuji is one of those in the top tier for me. If not the best, then certainly in the top four. The roll size is above average here, so generally we order one less roll between us and get the same amount of food as most other places. If we're starving, we'll add the excellent tuna kobachi "deluxe", which is the standard tuna kobachi but with avocado slices and roe. It's worth the extra $2 for the deluxe version. I'm not going to go into specific rolls that we've had here (there's too many), although I'll go ahead and say that one roll makes it onto our plate at least 50% of the time. The AquaBear roll, which I don't believe is on the menu but it's on the chalk board by the entrance, is one that we've always loved. Tuna, escolar and spicy salmon together with a drizzle of "special sauce" makes for a nicely rounded out roll that's worth the money every time. In general, they have quite a talent for inventing rolls with ingredients that work really well together, with flavors and textures that meld nicely without overpowering each other.

I honestly think that Yelp needs a ten star system. Why? Because although three stars is categorized as A-OK which is GOOD it seems like it is not great. However this place to me is a solid A-OK. A great go-to place, however it wasn't more than that. It was very, very good. I miss my favorite place in Miami, a place where 85% of the customers are Japanese or Korean (an indication of great Sushi). The rolls here were very good and the price was excellent. The Vegetable roll was good, it had a slight seaweedy taste. The Dynamite roll very good and the other two rolls also very good. Nothing stuck out as amazing but I am most definitely happy with rolls and prices. I will come back .
(3)Jen N.
Went on a Friday night and it was super packed. They had about a 30 min wait and it was worth it!!
(5)Gustavo A. L.
To be fair, I enjoyed the experience overall. The service was good, albeit curt and a bit too businesslike. I found that the rolls were too big, a bit heavy on the rice. This takes away from the real flavor of the sushi pieces and focuses more on the generic flavor of rice. The 3 stars for A OK are a combination of acceptable service, with decent food at a fairly reasonable price. My humble opinion, however, is that Fuji Sushi is good enough but can definitely be better.
(3)Heather D.
I've been coming here for years! The rolls are huge with great prices. The food is definitely good. The waitstaff is very friendly, however very slow. We often wait quite some time to even be greeted after seating.
(3)Joel C.
Sushi was plain and had way to much rice. Way over priced for bad sushi. Publix sushi is much better and cheaper.
(1)Greg E.
Very solid - my local go-to for sushi.
(3)Joseph L.
Favorite sushi place in Orlando. I am pretty sure I get the same thing every time. Never disappointed with the rolls here, they are always big and delicious! I recommend this place to all my friends.
(5)Digital B.
When I worked downtown I used to use 17-92 as my way of going home to Longwood. On a Friday evening I used to love swinging by here and picking up a to go order of their sushi. As stated in my other post, I love sushi. I'm always trying new places just to compare notes. Fuji has always been good solid sushi. You get a good portion and a a fair price. Love their salad and soups too! Be prepared on a Friday or Saturday evening they can get pretty busy. The location is small too. It used to be a Taco place from the 80's so there isn't a lot of seating. Large groups will not do well unless you get there early. Service has always been great and quick. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is that I wish I could give them 4.5 stars. OK. What the hell. I'll give them 5 stars.

We went tonight under several recommendations from members of vegetarians of central Florida. We let the waitress know it was our first time. We are a vegan family of three and wanted some good veggie sushi options. We got four rolls and they were very good. After ordering, I wondered if they had the option for brown rice for our following visit, so I asked the waitress. She said it wasn't too late to change to brown rice if we wanted, or if we wanted they had purple rice. We said sure! Thanks! The purple rice looked cool and was yummy. However, when the bill came, AFTER she had swipped our card, we felt like the price seemed high. So we checked over the itemized bill and noticed two separate charges that we didn't recognize. One for $8 open sushi, and another for $1 open sushi. When I asked the waitress she said "oh, I should have told you, it's $2 per roll for the purple rice, and also I had to charge you an extra $1 for the avocado." Now we had choosen to omit credit cheese from one of the rolls since we are vegan, and specifically asked if we could substitute avocado and were told yes. While I totally understand up charges, since I was in resteraunt general management for years, I do not understand not informing the customer of this first and just sliding it in on the bill. NOT cool. Especially not cool when we asked her about it and she was kinda like, oh well. It took an experience to where we wanted to tell all of our friends, to not wanting to come back again. So beware if you need to change anything up.
(2)Ellen E.
Baked Green Mussels, Candy Cane roll, volcano roll, dynamite roll...JUST GO THERE!!! You will enjoy. Open for lunch, then they close down for "Siesta" and open for dinner.
(4)Kayli W.
I have visited Fuji twice now, and I can't say that I have been impressed either time. The first time I went I ordered a Philadelphia roll and a spicy tuna roll, and I ended up having to send the philly roll back because the fish wasn't any good. The staff was nice enough to offer to get me something else, and removed the charge from my bill, but at that point I had already lost my appetite. The second time I came here was for a business meeting. My host was in charge of ordering, so I am not exactly sure what we got. I do know that we had a seaweed salad, which was tasty. As far as the sushi rolls, again--not impressed. I work about 2 minutes from this place, which is super convenient, but if someone offered to take me here for lunch, I think I would have to politely decline.
(2)Daniel S.
This has been my local sushi-ya for about 13 years now. It has been the same sushi chef since I've been going there. The Hamachi Kama here is pretty big and only 4.99$ The Udon Nabe is their best nabe Try the rolls listed on the dry erase board as they are the most original.
(4)Natalie H.
The place is some what of a dive but we keep coming back. They have a huge menu. Not traditional, lots of creative and huge rolls. I like the dream roll which has tuna and a lemon wasabi sauce. They have a variety of seating including the kind where you sit cross legged or regular tables or booths. It usually ends up being about $50 for two people including sake and appetizers.
(4)Mike Z.
I don't know a ton about sushi, so this review won't be as detailed as one written by a true sushi fan. I can say that the sushi here is pretty good, though. I was here for the 2nd time maybe 2 months ago. The first time was a LONG time ago, perhaps in either 2005 or 2006. It seemed to me that Fuji has improved since my initial visit, though that first one was so long ago that my memory, understandably, is a little hazy. My friend, who is a vegetarian, picked something out for me since I couldn't quite decide what to order during my recent visit. I had the cucumber, sesame and avocado roll, which was delicious. I also had some of her kimchi roll. It also was tasty. A few others who were with us ordered a lot of sushi, but I didn't try any of it because I think it had a lot of stuff that I didn't think looked or sounded appetizing. Since I basically am a sushi rookie, I mostly since with the vegetarian options and will try things that don't sound too, to me, icky. Our companions ate up everything that they ordered, though, so it probably was very good ... for them, at least. The prices seemed to be pretty reasonable, too. I am 99% sure my sushi was $5 or less. The service was just fine. Nice people. Perhaps I will come back again someday, but I might start looking around for some more nearby places to have sushi. Fuji is fine, but I'd like to see what else is out there as well. Again, I don't yet know a lot about sushi (I much prefer Chinese/Thai/etc.) but I do like it. If you do, too, then give Fuji Sushi a try.
(4)Dan O.
It's decent sushi, nothing spectacular. Some of the rolls & dishes were a little bland. Service was good but very slow. Don't go here in a hurry.
(3)Abby H.
They have many great rolls to choose from! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE 2010 ROLL! The fish is fresh and this roll in particular was so delicious. Gr8 food.
(5)Jennifer C.
I have been eating here for 9 years now. Ever since I moved to Winter Park area. This place is one of my favorite places to go. I have been in a lot for lunch lately. Jennifer is a excellent server. She has been waiting on me for a few months now. She had learned what I like to drink and how I take my bento box.
(5)Andrew P.
Wonderful place. I live in winter park and prefer Seito but this is the best bang for your buck in town.
(5)Megan B.
So freaking good! 2011 roll for sure. Can't wait to try the other specialty rolls, they all sounded so so good! The staff was very friendly and personable. Our waitress was treating us like old friends, it was really nice.
(5)Meli C.
Placed a take-out order over the phone a couple nights ago. Phone service and check out service was good. Disappointed with the food. The sushi was not great quality at all. I had a awkward taste left in my mouth. Rolls were mostly rice and low on fish. Rice had a weird taste to it too. Based on prior reviews having similar food experience, will not be returning. You can't serve bad sushi as a sushi based restaurant.
(2)Monica S.
It's been a few years since I've been here, but it used to be my favorite sushi place in the greater Orlando area...until the one time I didn't get the sushi, and instead got the teriyaki salmon- and got food poisoning the one and only time in my life. I would like to give it a better rating since their rolls are so good, but food poisoning dictates a 1 star rating. Just don't get the teriyaki dishes and stick to the sushi.
(1)Greg S.
There are some restaurants to "see and be seen". There are some restaurants that specialize in "specialty sushi" where you can buy something elaborate. And then there is Fuji Sushi where I will say that is one of the closest experiences outside of getting it in Tokyo. In 2008 we went to Tokyo, and ate as much local food as possible. And I will say from this night, the Udon w/ tempura and the sashimi could easily match Tokyo's. One thing about the udon........let it cool down before chowing down, it was atomic when it came out, lol. The service was great as well. Although, on Saturday around 8 the crowds were just leaving at that time. This particular sushi restaurant may not be in the middle of the hip hangouts as the others are in Orlando, but its well worth the trip.
(5)Steven K.
I LOVE Fuji Sushi. I've been going there since the 90s! I've been to other sushi restaurants but I always wind up disappointed and head back to Fuji! I took my best friends there (who didn't even like sushi from previous experiences) and now it's their favorite, too! The food and service are both amazing!
(5)Beth M.
The shrimp dumplings were kind of bland, but the rest of the food I had was good. Delicious miso soup and sushi. My main complaint is that the service was painfully slow.
(3)Toney V.
A big sushi fan, this is my local favorite and has me constantly returning. Pros: Friendly and prompt enough service. Large list of options/custom rolls, lots of non-sushi items too though I've never those. Good. quality fish and great presentation. Sizable rolls Favorite Rolls: Any of thier year rolls (2011, 2012, etc), Dream Roll, Polar Bear, Rainbow/Eelbow, Tempura Roll. Cons: Beef Negamaki thin and a bit depressing. I was spoiled by Seito (Winter Park Village Sushi spot, can't remember new name). 2 Nice fish tanks, always looks like they could use a little TLC, not a deal breaker :)
(5)Matt H.
Good shushi. They made me a custom roll with Yellowtail and Jalapeño. Had the Lemongrass coconut Sake.
(4)Tracy M.
Best sushi in Orlando. Service is slow but nice. Don't go if you are in a hurry, but the food is worth the wait.
(5)Hal S.
I love this place. The sushi is always delicious and fresh, as well as reasonably priced. I've been coming here all of my life and every time I visit home I have to stop in at least once.
(5)Omaira D.
I've had better. The stars say it all. Average tasting sushi, average size... they're super accomodating though, and if you tell them what you want they'll customize your roll to your liking. Knowledgable staff... but I just wasnt feeling the food.
(2)Cecille R.
My husband and I have lived in the area for 3 1/2 years and hadn't come across any worthy sushi restaurants until we discovered Fuji Sushi thanks to some friends' recommendations. It is a small, laid back restaurant on Lee Road minutes from Winter Park Village. Nothing fancy but they make up for what they lack in decor in their food. Prices are more than reasonable. My husband and I usually get 4 orders of rolls, 2 soups and drinks and that runs us about $40 before tip. Not bad for 2 people! I highly recommend the DREAM roll and DYNAMITE roll. Fantastic!!
(5)Sarah L.
I have yet to find a better sushi place in Florida. The dream roll is always to-die-for, and my other faves are the Honolulu roll (coconut shrimp, cream cheese, mango, cucumber, and peanuts), the popeye roll (tempura sweet potato, cream cheese, and spinach), and the 2006 roll (fried roll with salmon, cream cheese, and pineapple--like a dessert!). The menu is extensive & includes quite a few vegetarian options.
(5)Jane S.
I would not have the sushi here if you have had fresh, melt in your mouth nigiri and sashimi before... the cooked food, however, is fine and it's good for quick casual dining.
(2)Kathy D.
I thought this place is okay. Service is a bit slow. Definitely think they need to redo their lunch special menu. I ordered the Japanese Curry Chicken, which was a bento box. It actually came with nothing that was listed on the menu except for the california roll. It actually came with 2 siu mai (which seemed it came from previous frozen packages you can get at the asian markets), a bland cucumber salad, a veggie egg roll and a side of ginger with your california roll. The curry chicken itself was good, but could use more elements other than potatoes and onions. I gave it a 3 star because it provides a lot more kitchen items than you find at Seito's or Wazzabi near by and I like to eat actual japanese food other than sushi and common bento boxes.
(3)Katie F.
This review will focus on the lunch bento box because that has been my experience the two times I've visited. The lunch special is a good price. It's a lot of food and I like that the bento box doesn't include beef or pork dumplings, which I don't eat. The issues are that the sushi isn't very fresh (the fish is not very flavorful), the rice doesn't cling to the fish in the order of nigiri, and the shrimp dumplings have been soggy, and I'm never thrilled about a California roll being thrown into a lunch portion--I'd rather have a basic maki, spicy roll, or a piece or two of a futomaki roll. The last "bad" is that the tables are small and it feels quite crowded, even for just a table of 3-4 adults. The good points include that the lunch portion is huge, the prices are below $10, the crab sunomomo salad is good, and the nigiri pieces are quite large. There is no going back to work hungry.
(2)Michelle D.
I would give 2stars,food was amazing but service was awful,I mean our server was AWFUL....I had servers name "Jennifer" twice this past a few weeks,it was disappointed both time with her. When she serve us our food, she smells like a cigarette!!! She has never come to check on our drinks for refill or nothing. She just sat down at the her other sections with the other customers table and forget about our drinks. I couldn't believe the service..I have never had a bad experience at fuji sushi in the past. But again, food is always tasty and amazing!!
(2)Tom B.
Lee Road's Fuji Sushi isn't sleek or modern, but it's still reliable after all these years. They make a nice first impression with a hot wet towel, always refreshing; then a complimentary starter of cool bean sprouts and sesame seeds in a broth. Tuna Belly was on the menu but unavailable on this visit. I was hoping to try it. Instead, I had a good fatty tuna sushi, very fresh tasting; and some yellowtail sashimi. The roll I chose was the Lake Mary Roll, recommended by my waitress. I'm not sure of all of the fish that was on it, but it was pretty well loaded and was a fine recommendation. There's a loyal following at this location, which I believe is the original. It's easy to see why - service is friendly and warm and offerings are plentiful. Don't go with the expectation of modern design or unusual trancey music; just drop in, smile at the waitresses and enjoy.
(4)Kenneth T.
At first glance, you think - this place could be decent but you're wrong. I find it amusing that out of all the sushi places I've gone too, this is probably the worse. There wasn't a single Japanese person working there. In fact, there was only 1 Asian person working there and she wasn't even Japanese. They bring you a hot towel that is partially hot and smells strongly of fabric softener which nauseated me and killed my appetite. They didn't have half of the items I ordered. When our food came, there was a small piece of plastic wrap in the food. When we complained about it, the manager claimed it's used when they wrap the rolls but agreed it shouldn't be in there - the funny part was the plastic wrap wasn't in any of the rolls, it was in the sashimi. Finally, we noticed that part of our order was missing and they made it immediately. I would have given them more stars if they did something about the problems or offered some sort of discount or free meal for all of the problems but they didn't. The bathrooms are also disgusting. You walk down a nice hall but it leads you outside. The bathroom is basically a notch up from an outhouse and very distburning. I definitely won't be coming here again.
(1)Mike C.
The service was better than the sushi. Everyone was friendly and the place seemed to be maintained well enough. What really took from my experience is the size of the sushi balls. Abnormally large balls of rice with normal sized fish in the middle. Made the sushi look awkward and made u feel like u were there to load up more on rice than on fish. Service was highly attentive and friendly however, and I can't stress enough how important I find great guest service. Unfortunately the quality of the sushi rolls was an unpleasant surprise for me. I am not saying the fish was not fresh, but that there was just too much damn rice! (For sushi)
(3)Morgan C.
Fuji sushi on Lee Rd has been my go to sushi place for years. Like an old friend, they welcome you in, seat you, lovingly feed you and send you on your way. Prices are reasonable, service is adequate and the decor is typical. The food though, is top notch! Every time I go, I order the Polar Bear roll. Close your eyes and imagine the perfect roll: salmon, cream cheese, tempura crunchies, eel sauce and escolar to top it all off. This roll puts me over the edge! They have great hot and cold appetizers. Try the tempura vegetables or my hubby's favorite, the tuna kabachi. All this, and a couple of bottles of sake and you are set. Also, try the yellow tail jaw special (if they have it). It is divine.
(4)Desiree W.
Fuji Sushi has a few things going for it that most of the Sushi restaurants don't have. The food is very well made and has a great price for sushi! It can get a little but crowded at times but definitely worth the squeeze. They have an extensive menu with an array of choices (mostly sushi rolls). They have several rolls with toasted coconut!!! I recommend the dessert roll, 2011 roll, Hawaii roll and celebration roll! Yummy!!!
(5)Carlos P.
If you try one thing here, have the DREAM Roll. It's absolutely delicious and perfect to share as an appetizer. I had the New Zealand roll and the Tampa roll for dinner. I enjoyed the Tampa roll more than the New Zealand roll. Maybe because the New Zealand roll was topped with kiwi, which I though would be tasty and interesting but it more repugnant than anything. The service is quick and the prices are affordable. They have a pretty extensive menu with hot plates and a plethora of rolls, sushi and sashimi platters. Check em out!
(3)Vanessa C.
Best sushi in all of Orlando, and affordable too! My best friend happens to love this place, so we decided to give it a shot. It's a casual restaurant with the usual decor for a Japanese sushi establishment. Service was good. But the stars of this show are the endless, unique rolls they have to offer. Page after page of rolls you've never heard of, but sound delicious. We started off at my friend's insistence with the "Dream Roll," one of Fuji's "exclusive rolls." Consisting of spicy tuna deep fried with scallions, mayo, and the kicker - lemon wasabi sweet sauce on top, it honestly was a "dream." I tried several of my friend's rolls including the New Zealand roll (salmon, avocado, cream cheese, scallions and kiwi on top) and the Rainbow roll (usual), which were both pretty tasty. I myself had the "Dessert Roll," and I really should have paid attention to the name because while the mixture of the deep fried eel, egg, cream cheese, coconut and eel sauce was delicious - it was somewhat overly sweet & heavy. All in all, I really enjoyed my experience here & look forward to visiting again next time I'm in Orlando & trying some more of those "exclusive rolls."
(4)Jessica V.
Fuji is a small sushi place off Lee Road and it's quite a nice hidden treat. The inside has a few booths as well as an in-view sushi bar where you can watch as your meal is being hand rolled. They have a big variety of classic and specialty rolls which is always good. I had the United Nations roll and it was huge and very filling. The prices are fair and the service was good as well.
(3)Bryan A.
The Winter Park Fuji Sushi has treated me well over the years BUT isn't as good as it once was which is weird cause I still recognize the same sushi chefs. It is still decent though. I will recommend the Spicy Tuna Kobachi (choose to have it Hot spiciness) and the Dream Roll. Both of these are staple items of the restaurant. Better than some, the house side salad is decent. More than just ice berg lettuce is nice to me. Not too pricey...average price for sit down casual dining. The bathrooms do suck here!
(3)Christian S.
I have been eating at Fuji for a decade. The staff is wonderful, and the sushi is the best in Orlando. Highly recommend the "Dynomite Roll" and "Dream Roll". Love his place.
(5)michelle h.
My first visit was over 10 years ago and for years was my favorite sushi spot. Over the last 2 or 3 years they have gone consistently downhill and my last 2 visits have been a complete disappointment. On both occassions, ordered 'to go' and when I got back to work, and opened the box, there was no wasabi for my sushi (seriously??) and the other items in the 'ginger pork' lunch box were swimming together in one big pool of .... something.... I emailed the manager and told him I was leaving appropriate feedback and he apologized then offered to comp my next ginger pork lunch if I just let him know when I'd be in. On both occassions when I contacted the mgr for my lunch, he never ever wrote back. I'm DONE with this place. They just don't care anymore :(
(1)Beth H.
What a great place for a first date! Nestled in a nondescript location close to Winter Park Village, Fuji Sushi Japanese has an inviting atmosphere and an extensive sushi and shashimi menu. Our server was incredibly gracious and helpful. I highly suggest the Polar Bear Roll. Fresh salmon, cream cheese, tempura, eel sauce and escolar all rolled up into oversized bites of heaven. If you're in the mood for sake, go for the unfiltered Shirakawago. It has less of a zing than your typical sake, with a hint of sweetness as it slides down. I will definitely be a repeat customer. :)
(4)Nathan R.
Fuji Sushi in Winter Park has never let me down. I am not the biggest sushi connoisseur, but needless to say I find this place quite tasty. I usually go with the less fishy-tasting options, and they have a good amount of vegetarian/not so seafood-y rolls. Service is pretty slow during lunch, as it gets pretty packed here. Last time I went was early evening during the week and there was only about 1 other couple in the place. If you are looking for some good sushi at a decent price, I would definitely suggest heading over to Fuji Sushi.
(4)Carlos D.
Definition of mediocre sushi. I've been going here since high school and I've never really had a reason to stop. It is affordable and the menu is extensive. Definitely no where near the best sushi in Orlando, but if I'm in the area, it's not a bad choice.
(2)Katie D.
People who are saying that this is the best sushi in Orlando: WRONG. Is Fuji the ONLY sushi you've had in Orlando? Even Seito is better than Fuji, and Seito is nothing to write home about. Fuji used to be a go-to spot back when I was in high school. The quality of their fish was good and their prices were good as well. However, I took my boyfriend there recently and it was AWFUL. We both go sick afterwards, which completely ruined our nice date night. He ordered a Mexican roll, which was sub-par, while I ordered a roll that had crab salad in it and a California roll. The California roll was okay, but the crab salad in the roll was so awful I couldn't eat it. It was SO GROSS. The fish didn't taste fresh in general and the sushi chef used far too much rice in the rolls, making them huge. I also think they over season their rice with vinegar. Vinegar shouldn't be the primary taste in a bite of sushi. The inside of the restaurant is cramped and worn looking. It's not the cleanest looking place either. It just feels kind of gross. Every time my boyfriend and I pass Fuji in the car, we joke and ask each other "Hey, want to go to Fuji?" to which we both reply "NO WAY"
(1)Justin I.
This is one of our favorite sushi places of all time. We've been eating here since the early 2000's. The ambiance and decor is nothing to be proud of but the service is good and the food is amazing. Our favorite is the volcano roll with white fish. We normally order two and devourer them instantly. The prices are very reasonable and the place is set up nicely for both intimate dates and large groups. The bathrooms are small and they are outside but they are always clean and are easy to get to. The actual sushi bar is a great place to get a quick roll if you are just swinging through the area. This place is great for take out too. It's all about the sushi at this place. All the rolls are awesome!
(5)Mariacristina R.
I can't believe I haven't yet reviewed my favorite sushi restaurant in all of Orlando and I'm even more baffled by the less than stellar ratings on Yelp! What a shame! Fuji's is practically a Rollins College Hamilton Holt tradition, while I was a student going to Fuji's after class and on the weekends was just the norm and there's an extremely good reason for it: The sushi is wonderful! I usually try to order a new roll every time I go but typically get the dynamite roll, the volcano roll or another House roll. I have to admit, in all the years I've been going to Fuji's I haven't tried the rest of their menu (other than a few appetizers) so I can't comment on their cooked dishes. But, to be honest, no Winter Park resident goes to Fuji for the cooked dishes - the sashimi boats and sushi rolls are the real stars in this tiny restaurant. There's a reason why this restaurant is always full - it's good, it's small and it's an authentic experience. You won't get frilly electronica music, mood lighting or a distracting waitress. If you're looking for a laid back place to get a nice hot sake with friends and great food, Fuji is it. You'll get the sushi you want and the way it should be made.

I love Japanese food, and Fuji Sushi remains the best in town for me, even after living here for years. Their selection is diverse (and delicious), their servers are friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. I also have to pay special note to their vegetarian selection; they have a great variety of rolls, and their veggie roll is absolutely top-notch. But fear not, my carnivorous friends - I've brought plenty of your animal-eatin' allies to this place and they all have enjoyed it immensely. This is a great place to go, period. Sit back, relax, and enjoy some tasty sushi. Good times.

Nothing stood out when I was there, nothing fancy to write about, nothing traditional either, It was average. Too many sushi places in town and I don't think I'd go out of my way just go there for sushi unlike other sushi places.

I took my family over the past weekend here, now as I always state I am a native. And this place has been here for "years" always pass by never went in. So we finally breezed through, walked in and was kinda thrown off over the size. Didn't want to be bumping shoulders. It was small inside, but we sat down anyway. And I am so glad we did, the food was wonderful and the service great. Our servant was very attentive and answer our eager questions. As we ate we noticed the place gets crowded quick. They have cute little booths to sit in, but as we were told they fill up quick. Next time I come back I will reserve one of those boxes.

Fuji Sushi is a staple for me. They do a great job with their sushi. Nothing beats sitting at the bar to eat so that you can watch them create your rolls and be entertained by AB-one of their primary sushi chefs. I highly recommend the tuna kobachi. It is reasonably priced and the portions are awesome! Lunch tends to be busy during the week as this is a popular business lunch restaurant.

The rolls at this joint are as large as Honey Boo Boo! Seriously, they are difficult to fit into your mouth at times. Not only are the rolls large in stature, they are also high in quality. Absolutely delicious. If you are a fan of sushi, definitely check Fuji out. Also, for a sushi joint in the sometimes snooty Winter Park, the prices are very reasonable. I can't really speak for the non-sushi options, however I did have the beef negimaki and it was a bit underwhelming. Also, their booths are strange and the walk to the bathroom makes you feel like you're going to meet a mob boss behind the restaurant. Stick to the sushi and you will not be disappointed.
(4)Elle L.
Fuji Sushi very neighborhoody, traditional and has that locally-owned feel. I like walking into establishments, knowing they're mom-and-pop shops. The decor is a bit cheesy, not flashy like some sushi places I've been to in Orlando, but I'm OK with that. The sushi is fantastic. We got the Florida and Honolulu rolls, which were both delish. The only weird thing was they weren't rolled very tight, so they came apart. I ended up having to use my fingers to eat them. Also - the seaweed was really tough...we ended up picking it off. The customer service was good - we got a hot towel to wipe our hands before our meal came...although it took about 45 minutes for them to make two rolls. That's why I gave them three stars. Sushi should never take that long. If you're in the area check it out!

I love Fuji Sushi! : D I really miss going there with all of my friends. Their signature sushi is definitely the best--my favorite is the 2007 roll! Pricing is very good for the quality of their food too, and some rolls are gigantic--though I am not sure which ones were since my friend ordered them. Didn't really go for the udon soup, but dude--it's a sushi place! Tempura is delicious! (also about the food poisoning, one of my co-workers got sick here sometime in summer 2011. I was -very- surprised, but I guess it does happen--or it may of been something else she had eaten somewhere else?) Oh! Also they give you seasoned bean sprout appetizers, yum yum yum!

First time here so we thought we would try Hibachi dishes. We thought this would be a good comparator to other restaurants of this type. We ordered the meal for 2 with all the sides and chick shrimp and filet. MISTAKE! The miso and salad were great and that is where it stopped. The meat was very small pieces very dry and the amount of soy sauce used to say was excessive would be an under statment. In summary the food is over cooked over seasoned and definitly over priced.

The spicy tuna roll is addictive!!!
(4)Ann F.
Went to dinner with our son for his birthday. Food was amazing! Try the fugi bomb for appetizer. Delicious! Waitress was wonderful. Tempura cheese cake for dessert was so delicious. Can't wait to go back.

If I could rate it 0 stars I would. Absolutely the worst tasting sushi I have had in my life. I have never walked out of a restaurant before today, but of course I paid. Tasted old and had a terrible after taste. I had the roll with tuna inside and on top, along with avocado. Huge roll and disgusting. I am used to sushi from up north which was always amazing. Never again.

Still my favorite sushi restaurant in Orlando for over 15 years. Tuna kabochi is the best here. No one else does it better. I heard that for a while, they were over-seasoning their sushi rice. I recently tried a few pieces of my wife's rolls and they were fine. I think the prob is fixed now. I usually don't eat rolls so I really don't know about sushi rice. I eat sashimi and various appetizers with a bowl of plain steamed rice. I think appetizer format is probably an American thing. I order about 3 to 4 "appetizers" as my main course along with the spicy tuna kabochi and various sashimi like octopus, salmon, sea urchin, or tuna belly. Always good, and the best price for this area. I've eaten sushi all over Florida and and various cities outside of Florida, including the world famous Nobu (over-rated) and I always come back to Fuji. Their udon could be a lot better, but I usually just order something like a grilled salmon jaw and or a bowl of spicy raw fish anyway.
(4)Federico A.
Best sushi in this part of town! Great Sake selection. They also have some of the more exotic fish to sample. Food is fresh and priced right. Recommend to all!!
(5)Al O.
Great sushi reasonable prices. Atmosphere is a bit tired but can be easily overlooked because of the sushi.
(4)Mark D.
I've been to a lot of sushi places all over the country, and this one is easily the best one so far. It's small and it does get crowded, but I can handle that. The servers frequently have no understanding of the english language, but I can handle that too. They have so many rolls to choose from, and almost all of them are yum yum delicious amazing. They are big and they are rolled well. I recommend the Rollins Roll (my wife's favorite), the Hot Chik, the Volcano Roll with mixed seafood topping, there are really too many to mention. The sashimi is good, too. And the price is right. If you want wine, get a bottle to save some money, they will put it in a bag for you to take home if you don't finish it. I love this place. I no longer live in Orlando, and the only thing I miss is Fuji.
(5)Amy P.
I love this place! Best sushi in Orlando! Sometimes you can be waiting an hour for it but it's worth the wait. One of the best things I ever ate was the Honolulu roll.
(5)Joe D.
I had the dream roll and the spicy tuna. They were both excellent. Would come again for sure.
(4)Patrick H.
Goma-Ae was wilted and made with salty soy sauce (expected ginger). Service was slow to seat and slow to return to the table. Rolls were overpuffed with rice. On the bright side, the sashimi was fresh.
(3)Milissa P.
This place used to be good back around 2001-2002, but the last time I went was in 2007 when I ordered a spicy tuna roll and i got rice with a scarce pieces of tuna. I think there was a change in management around that time or something, because all of the decent waitresses were gone and replaced with waitresses with tattoos hanging out all over the place offering bad service. I have since made Hana Sushi in Altamonte Springs my go to sushi place.
(2)Doug M.
I have to say I liked this place. But I can't say that I LOVED it. It's a cute little place where the prices and service are very good. I loved the Popeye Roll but was not impressed at all with the Shrimp Tempura, I have had better at quite a few other places in Orlando. The Honolulu Roll was very good but I would only recommend it as a "desert" roll or for those with a sweet tooth. I would go back when I am on that end of town but when I need a sushi fix I will probably go elsewhere.
(3)Steve G.
if i could give half stars i would give 2 1/2 for this place. i went there last night for the first time in many years, i used to really like this place. it was kind of sad, like seeing an old high school crush that got ugly and fat. it was great to be back in the floor seating , then i looked around and just noticed how dirty and dilapidated the surroundings are. a makeover is seriously needed but even a little paint would helps tons. plus i felt bad when the girl i was with decided to hold it for almost an hour once she was told the bathroom was outside. note to guys- not good for a date for these reasons alone. the food- the rolls all looked good and even tasted o.k. but out of 5 rolls that we got, the best one was the regular tuna roll. the rice was so glutonous that i couldn't enjoy the meal cause it was actually hard work eating it. even the Miso soup was lackluster. do i care that none of the employees were Japanese...? not really but maybe it does matter?. my waitress tried hard but at least the bill wasn't hard to swallow .... just the sushi.
(2)Walerz B.
EW! I HATE THIS PLACE. And the weird thing is, it's always freaking busy. I must be missing out on something but I think their sushi is crap. Nothing inventive, sometimes not fresh, slow service especially if their busy. It's like no one wants to venture to Amura's downtown or some place else and so they just hole up here. And it's pricey for where they are located, too. One time I ordered sushi to go and it tasted like soap. As if the chefs cut up our sushi and had washed their knives with soap but forgot to wash it off. Those guys didn't think I'd call back and they were all "Oh but did you eat it all already? And you'll have to bring it back...?" Idiots. I tried a piece in the car and though we were a good 7 minutes away I TURNED BACK.
(2)Vern P.
I wanted a great sushi dinner, and Fuji Sushi surpassed my expectations. After eating a whole roll, I had to ask the chef to make a roll that had delicious mix. He suggested the Beauty and the Beast, he was right on, and I recommend it it you as well.
(5)Kas T.
so i heard many good things about fuji sushi and decided to give it a try.. went for dinner with a friend and none of the things we ordered came out right.. the soft shell crab wasn't fried well, the sushi rolls were poorly made (fell apart) and fish wasn't fresh.. could just be an isolated experience but i don't think i'll be going back..
(2)Joanne D.
The place looks small but is kind of nice inside with the usual fish tanks and assorted booths. Don't forget to check the specials on the sign as you enter the door. I've been going there for about 7 years and find that it's consistently good. They give complimentary bean sprouts to all who enter along with those nice warm cloths to cleanse your hands. I always start off with their tuna kobachi (medium heat) which has never disappointed me. Tuna is so fresh and has just the right amount of spices and mixed with some soy sauce--yum. One of my favorite rolls is the Dream Roll which is spicy tuna wrapped and lightly fried and topped with this great sauce (it's a must every time I go there). Another favorite is the Sebring Roll which has assorted fish, asparagus, cream cheese among other goodies and flash fried. My workplace is in the downtown area so we have tried most of the sushi restaurants in the area and one thing that I've noticed is that Fuji has reasonable prices and their rolls are quite substantial in filling - not substantial with the rice-which is a plus in my book. They have a decent selection of wines (I was surprised to see Red Diamond on their wine list at around $5.00 a glass), sake and beers. Service is usually very good and the staff is pretty knowledgeable about the offerings. Parking is free and easy (no valet here unlike the new kid on the block across the shopping center). If you require the snobbish atmosphere and more expensive bill, go elsewhere. You'll get good service, great rolls at a reasonable price at Fuji.
(4)Michael C.
This Fuji Sushi has an interesting atmosphere and is really hard to get to and most of the time I completely pass it up. NEVER go here for a lunch date, especially on a work day. The service is slow, they never have enough people and they bark at you more often than not. I imaging its because they get so busy and maybe the service is slightly different in the evening but they have only kept my attention because I love their Dancing Eel roll and can't get out to their sister location nearly as often as I'd like. The worst is the bathroom which is located around back and the walkway back to it is pretty spooky even in the daytime.
(3)Jennifer K.
don't eat here. it's filthy and disgusting. i even saw a cockroach on the floor. plus, rude staff, food tastes old, and tons of rice on the rolls. save your money and go somewhere else. i'm never eating here again.

Moved to the Winter Park area a few months ago and some what a sushi fanatic. Been to a few places like Seito and didn't have a good experience, so I decided to yelp and stubbled upon this place. It had fairly decent reviews so I gave it a try. My sister and I started with a Naruto maki ( appetizer roll). This was the best one but the cucumber weren't neatly wrapped nor consistent. It was really hard to eat and falling apart on the plate. Then, we ordered three rolls (volcano, smoked salmon and cream cheese, and the basic california roll). Thinking you really can't go wrong with these basic rolls, think again. The california roll was basked in sesame seeds in a thick layer. We didn't care for the smoked salmon roll and sent it back after one bite and ordered the Seaworld roll instead (fried lobster, eel, and sauce). This is also a mistake. There were barely any lobster and what's in there was soggy along with the batter. The server was very nice in general and service was fine, but food isn't great and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Also, it's not expected but most restaurants do take off at least an order that was barely touched from the receipt, but they charged me for both of the rolls I sent back.
(2)Michael D.
As with all the Fuji Sushi locations in the Greater Orlando area, they are overly-hyped and don't have the food to back up these good reviews. I've eaten at both the Lee Road and the Conroy Road location [not by choice]. The food wasn't horrible but it definitely wasn't appetizing or worth it. I definitely won't be back.
(2)Curtis S.
I rate this 5 stars not because it's a 5 star restaurant. It's a tiny place hidden on the outskirts of Winter Park Village that you probably have driven by numerous times. But when you walk in, the place rings of a Japanese restaurant. From the entrance, you can see the sushi bar where the chefs are working away at an excellent selection of fine rolls. You have the option of sitting at a regular table with chairs, or in a traditional booth where you sit cross legged at the table (fun!). I've only been for lunch, so I can say that it is very affordable for what you get. $10-11 gets you a meal of 5 or 6 Nigiri (or 3 Sashimi) and two half rolls of Sushi, along with dumplings, Japanese egg rolls, cucumber salad, a bowl of rice, Miso soup, and plenty of ginger and wasabi for even the most daring of individuals. There's also tons of individual rolls ranging in prices from $3-8. All-in-all, a perfect place for sushi-lovers. I highly recommend it!
(5)natalie B.
I love Fuji Sushi. I have been enjoying Fuji Sushi Since 2006.The Sushi is the best Ive have ever had anywhere that includes California, North carolina and Florida. The United roll is the absolute perfect mix and goes well with the appetizer of Yaki Nasu. I do wish they had a variety of Teas other than the typical Green tea which is pretty watered down at Fuji Sushi. I have tried many other rolls that were all very delicious on the menu too. I would recommend them to all Sushi Lovers
(5)Megan M.
I've gone here a number of times and the food is fine. If you don't feel like dealing with the scene at Amura downtown this is a good place to go, easy and convenient and they have an extensive sushi list. The food has been consistently good. The gotcha is their rude service. Tonight we ordered hamachi donburi, which is a pretty standard Japanese item that is not on their menu, but they've made it for us before. Tonight it came out with a sauce and sesame seeds on it (never has before) which ruined the taste of the fish. Anyway, we let the waitress know and she proceeded to argue with us for 10 minutes. and long story short, made us pay for it. We asked to speak to a manager. She said ok, waited 5 minutes and then came back and told us there was no manager there. Bizarre. We never send food back, but this was simply wrong and they made no attempt at making amends. Sad they'd lose really good customers (our family spends about $100/week here) over a silly $13 item. We told the waitress we'd be writing a review on Yelp about the terribly disappointing service. She shrugged her shoulders and walked off. So the food is fine, but the service couldn't be worse which is why I'm giving it a scathing two-star review.
(2)Matt H.
I get Fuji at least once a week, sometimes twice if my wife is out of town. When I call they no longer ask for my name because they know us by what we order. I've had sushi in many world cities and I still think that Fuji is among the best around. Get the 2008 Sandwich Roll, it's legit.
(5)Gaby S.
This continues to be our go-to place for sushi. Is close to home and the rolls are good. The main reason why I like Fuji is because of their WIDE variety of sushi rolls. I can always find a roll no matter what kind of sushi mood I am in. My main concern is the service. Fuji has gone through servers as if there was a revolving door. Every month there is a new person that doesn't know the menu or that has never served before and doesn't know how to handle the table volume. A couple of times we have waited over 20 minutes to place our drink order or to get our check. So in conclusion, this place is ok and we will probably continue to come here.
(3)Laura T.
I give it 5 stars because I have been here 20+ times (no joke!) and I have yet to be disappointed. The decor is awesome. There's even booths you can sit with your legs crossed for the Japanese experience or regular tables of course. Rolls are big both with rice and fillings. The Fuji Bomb is the best appetizer to get. Prices are very reasonable for the size of the rolls. Forever my husband and I's favorite sushi spot.
(5)Lani G.
I've passed by this place hundreds of times and finally started coming about 6 months ago. They have so many creative rolls and it's hard to choose! All are delicious. Tonight I went for two of my favorites, the candy cane and the Lake Mary rolls, and neither disappointed!
(4)Joy J.
Heard about this place from a few collegues that they serve huge pcs of sushi - So I decided to check out their lunch menu. The place is located nearby Trader Joes / Wawa and behind Ale House. The parking seemed filled so I was assuming its a popular spot for lunch. Came in and noticed its a cramped small eatery with interesting booths. I decided to check out the lunch menu and Im a sucker for Anything Tempura for lunch. The Shrimp Tempura was at $9.95 price that came with Miso soup, Rice, Pre frozen siu mai, an eggroll, Cucumber salad topped with Krab, and the Huge pieces of Shrimp & Veggies! and also 4 huge pcs of CA rolls. I was impressed on the huge pieces of Shrimp and Veggies! And the amount of rice you get with it. The eggroll and siu mai I can tell were not homemade esp the siu mai because Ive bought frozen dumplings before and had homemade dumplings - I can taste the difference. The Calif Rolls were huge pcs but mostly rice! Thats the trick to make you feel fuller - More rice Less filling! I see this all the time at some sushi spots! The cucumber salad was generous - Its soaked in a vinegar dressing topped with Krab meat (faux crab). The tempura sauce was not what Im used to - It was okay and helpful with my Tempura. Seito Sushi still has the best Tempura sauce by far. The Tempura was crispy and coated and fried perfectly! I would come back here and order that with a bowl of rice! Water was filtered and cold. Server gave me the wrong bill and water service and how was I doing part from server was not up par. The sushi chefs here are NOT ASIAN btw servers and sushi chef are american but I think back kitchen are Korean basing on the menu I see a few korean eats. I need to try the dinner menu and judge the eats and sevice from there!

In terms of a perfectly average sushi experience, this place is it. Fuji Sushi is on Lee Rd in Winter Park, and is seriously just average in every possible way. The parking is OK, the decor is OK, the food is OK, and the service is OK. When you first walk in, if there are people in the first booth, you feel like you're intruding on their meal...and from their POV, you basically are (or at least, that's what I feel anytime I sit in that very first booth...). That first booth has no privacy, despite the floor to ceiling faux-wall. There are three of these little booths on the left, and then regular tables behind 2 little room dividers. There's a smell when you walk in; it isn't bad and it isn't good. It smells clean, but kind of in that medical clean kind of way...not something you'd expect from a restaurant. I mean, it's great that it smells clean, but I don't know..maybe I'm weird expecting restaurants to smell like food? Anyway, I've had sushi and cooked meals here. It's not over priced given the size of dishes. Sushi here is good, but I've had better (and worse). The cooked meals have always been tasty, but they seem a bit weird about substitutions for things. Hesitant? Reluctant? Whatever, the point is, when I want to order a lunch time Bento Box and I can't because there's shell fish with it, it'd be nice to get something I'm not allergic to instead, ya know? The main thing I love about Fuji Sushi is that it's so freaking close to both my house and my office. And it really is the best Japanese/Sushi offering in the area without being over priced. It isn't bad...it just isn't great either. Thankfully, Yelp let's me pick that awkward 3-star rating, which is definitely what Fuji Sushi deserves. Way to stay average Fuji Sushi!
(3)Luis C.
Walked in and walked right back out. Flies all over the sushi bar... Not a good look with my raw food.

First time here and glad to find a decent place near my house! The servers work as a team to clear and clean and refill drinks so that makes for a nice atmosphere. Our server was very chatty and had two specific recommendations for us (SP Roll and the SeaWorld roll). The background music was surprising to me:acoustic versions of top 50. They do a Happy Hour til 6pm for drinks only:bogo on domestic beers and all wines. We got plum wine (a bit sweet for me), Pinot Grigio, and bud light. Our favorite roll is the SeaWorld! Ironically that is where my boyfriend and I met! It's also super delicious! We also got the 2005 Roll which was very wasabi-ish; if you love wasabi, this is the roll for you! The Louisiana roll was our second fave. We will be back!

I discovered this incredible sushi joint a few months after I moved to Orlando in 2003. At that time, they had this incredible sushi chef, Sharif. Then he disappeared, and it just wasn't the same place anymore so I didn't eat there as much. Then last night I called and learned they prepare brown rice sushi. I placed an order for pick up (Lee Rd roll, WP roll & sunomono w/ raw salmon). While I was waiting, I was COMPLETELY FLOORED to see Sharif!! (It has to be at least 5-6yrs) He remembered me right off the bat. We hugged, and caught up for a bit. It was so wonderful to see him that I had to return tonight. I started w/ tuna tataki (designed like a huge flower on the plate), then an order of green mussels (light mayo), uni sushi w/ a huge lemon wedge & last but not least a special roll for me from Sharif. (I almost broke into my happy dance!!) Everything was amazingly fresh & we just talked and talked while he worked and I stuffed my face. lol While watching him work, he and boss man created some pretty amazing looking rolls. The Honolulu roll is a must try!! I highly recommend Fuji Sushi Winter Park now that Sharif is back. Tell him Kathy K. sent ya.
(5)Jessica P.
Fuji is by far the highest quality sushi restaurant around relative to their prices. It is consistently great and they exceed my expectations every time we go.
(5)Cathy R.
Sushi was decent but not great. They seem to rely more on gimmicky rolls with lots of ingredients then concentrating on quality. The service was friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is OK. I would probably not go back - plenty of better sushi options in the area at the same price point.
(3)Ava K.
Had takeout from here recently. It was average.... nothing memorable but nothing bad either.
(3)Pricilla G.
2014 roll, mexican roll, bubba roll , all tempura shrimp all every good. We use to drive every Friday to amura in lake mary, so glad we were introduced to fugi. Bigger rolls less expensive and friendly staff with super yummy rolls can't go wrong with fugi.
(5)Bob J.
A great dinner starting with SP roll, then some great, lightly battered tempura. Moderately priced. Wait staff were very pleasant and Sushi guys behind the bar were very friendly and helpful!
(5)Amanda W.
My husband and 2 friends came to Fuji for lunch today for my birthday. I ordered the house salad with ginger dressing, Rollins Roll and Crunchy Lobster roll. The food was amazing but the service was slower than Christmas. We sat for a very long time with empty water glasses. The servers were very friendly, just way too much time lapsed between check ins. Since it was my birthday they gave me a free fried cheesecake. This dessert is not for me. It was like hot milk in a fried breading with chocolate sauce. My husband liked it, just not my slice of cake. Lunch service is always hit or miss here in my experience, but the food makes up for it. This trip we were sat at the table for an hour and 15 minutes - luckily my boss didn't mind me being out so long since it was my birthday. On a side note, the music they had playing was like an Asian Sci-Fi Space Odyssey sound, I felt like I was being abducted.

Not bad ...but not good .lousy beef negimaki..ordinary teriyaki ...over sticky I'll try sushi next time ...good decor ...nice house saki ....busy and buzzy....service was sharp and friendly ...very attractive waitress staff Entertaining bar

My bf and I tried this place one night after the gym and loved it. We usually go over to the sushi place at the wpv but this is a close 2nd. We had a great time, great service and the food was great! We ordered a variety of rolls including their special something bomb which we loved. We def. Recommend it and would go back.

I'm hooked! SP roll is spicy tuna with tempura crumbs topped with salmon and chopped scallops, avacodo and special spicy sauce and more tempura crumbs...amazing
(4)Sara M.
I have eaten at sushi restaurants all over town and I always compare them to Fuji Sushi. Their rolls are huge, packed with flavor, and reasonably priced. They have so many rolls to choose from, not to mention you can special order anything on the menu. Like others have stated, sometimes the service is slow but the great tasting sushi makes up for it every time. Oh, and the ginger salad is tasty too!
(5)Mike E.
Favorite sushi place in the Orlando area. The rolls here are quite big and the menu offers a lot of variety. High quality and tasty! Some of the times I have visited, the service was very slow (like 10 minutes from sit down to drink order). There seems to be high turnover with the servers. Still, highly recommended! Favorite rolls: 2008 Sushi Sandwich, Dream Roll, Lee Road Roll, and Salmon Ecstasy (if you can handle wasabi!)
(5)Laura T.

Me and my crew have been going to Fuji Sushi for years. Chef AB and his staff are as good as it gets! We always have the best of times and leave fully satisfied. If you can, get a seat up front at the sushi bar. No need to fill out an order sheet as Chef AB will start rolling out the best sushi and sashimi that you have ever had. For those that don't like sushi, there are selections from the hibachi grill that are top notch as well. We don't even consider trying anywhere else in Orlando. Thank you Chef AB for many awesome dining experiences!

You get what you pay for. Food is gross. Tried hibachi and several sushi rolls. Restaurant is small, loud, and crowded. Flys all over the food. Very dirty and unsanitary.

(4)MICHELIN ZAGAT REVEIW S.
Not bad ...but not good .lousy beef negimaki..ordinary teriyaki ...over sticky I'll try sushi next time ...good decor ...nice house saki ....busy and buzzy....service was sharp and friendly ...very attractive waitress staff Entertaining bar
(4)Bennie R.
My bf and I tried this place one night after the gym and loved it. We usually go over to the sushi place at the wpv but this is a close 2nd. We had a great time, great service and the food was great! We ordered a variety of rolls including their special something bomb which we loved. We def. Recommend it and would go back.
(4)amanda n.
(5)Jezabel C.
They have the best sashimi dinner Platter (Sashimi Moriawase) that I have had in the greater Orlando area. They also ave some really delicious rolls. If great food and service is what your looking for, you will definitely be pleased.
(5)Janine J.
(1)Tine H.
Being a vegetarian, they have a great selection for me and everything I have had there had been amazing. The Bonsai drink is great too :)
(5)Jeff K.

(5)Monica S.

(2)Greg S.
(5)Toney V.
(5)Beth M.
The shrimp dumplings were kind of bland, but the rest of the food I had was good. Delicious miso soup and sushi. My main complaint is that the service was painfully slow.
(3)Matt H.
Yummy!!!

I have been eating at Fuji for a decade. The staff is wonderful, and the sushi is the best in Orlando. Highly recommend the "Dynomite Roll" and "Dream Roll". Love his place.

Good times.

(5)Melly M.

(4)Brian F.

Best sushi in this part of town! Great Sake selection. They also have some of the more exotic fish to sample. Food is fresh and priced right. Recommend to all!!

(4)Al O.
(2)Steve G.
if i could give half stars i would give 2 1/2 for this place. i went there last night for the first time in many years, i used to really like this place. it was kind of sad, like seeing an old high school crush that got ugly and fat. it was great to be back in the floor seating , then i looked around and just noticed how dirty and dilapidated the surroundings are. a makeover is seriously needed but even a little paint would helps tons. plus i felt bad when the girl i was with decided to hold it for almost an hour once she was told the bathroom was outside. note to guys- not good for a date for these reasons alone. the food- the rolls all looked good and even tasted o.k. but out of 5 rolls that we got, the best one was the regular tuna roll. the rice was so glutonous that i couldn't enjoy the meal cause it was actually hard work eating it. even the Miso soup was lackluster. do i care that none of the employees were Japanese...? not really but maybe it does matter?. my waitress tried hard but at least the bill wasn't hard to swallow .... just the sushi.
